    I believe if you make it featureless, you can keep using your standard capacity magazines normally. For the DD5V1, change to a fixed stock or find a length that you like on the current collapsible and pin it. Get any one the the crazy CA approved grips and change your flash hider to a muzzle brake. That should get rid of all the things that California believes are dangerous, hahaha.

      I would prefer to keep the pistol grip without modification and have a fixed mag. However, because of the specific design of the Daniel Defense AR10 it is not clear to me any company makes a fixed mag option that is workable. I was hoping someone on CG found a good solution. I guess I should just call the companies that make fixed mag options for the AR10 and see what they say about compatibility with the Daniel Defense. Thank you.

        Try the juggernaut kit maybe?

        I use the juggernaut rear pin with the hogue plunger kit and I really like it
