What's the longest you've waited for a production firearm?

I can tell most of you have never played the NFA/Class 3 game!Comment

I've never "ordered" a firearm. The only wait I've ever had is the wait while I try to find the one I've decided I want. That said it took me a 3-4 months when I decided to buy a SA Pro half rail, to find one at a reasonable price.Comment

I paid for a new Smith & Wesson Model 41 once, waited a year and a half, gave up, and used the store credit to buy a Browning SA-22, a Browning BL-22, and a CZ 455 — all in stock. I still feel like I came out ahead in the end.Anchors Aweigh

Have you all beat.
11 Years.
Serbu BFG-50A (semi-auto) in .50BMG.
Bought the receiver pre-AB50, and refused to register it. By the time Mark's production gun was ready, I had him ship it to my place in Arizona where it remains, but is one of the highlights of my weekend getaway place.

7 months for my DSA FAL receiver to come off of backorder and to my FFL; least it gave me time to stock up on 922r parts and magazines for the IMBEL kit it was going onto.
Think a friend of mine has me beat for the foreseeable future since he put a deposit down on one of those HMG StG-44's five years ago and is still waiting for that whole mess to clear up.Comment
