Mine is like yours, but simplified...
        Ear plugs
        Safety glasses
        Score book, note pad, pencil
        Chamber flag
Extra mag / clip - one of each type
        Stapler and staples
A few specialty gun tools and key spare parts
        Rangefinder
Windage and elevation cheat-sheet for the Garand

        Additionally (not in the bag)...
        Paper targets
        Binoculars and tripod
        Rifle rests and pads
        Hat with visor
        Hand cleaner
        and, most importantly, ammunition!

Guns, ammo, Gerber multi-tool, compacts pistol cleaning kit, small can rem-oil or similar, ears, stapler, tape. Then from there it depends on the mission.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

Most of the same as above with a few common first aid things; tourniquet, sanitary pads, shears, etc.

My range bag is my old camera bag, lot of pockets.

Yup....trauma kit is essential. You can make up your own even and house things in a big ziplock. Gloves, trauma shears, tourniquet, trauma dressing (or just enough gauze). If you want to add bonus stuff, add some chest seals and fancy trauma dressing. BUT, all of this is useless without even basic training. Hell one person I spoke too was really interested in learning those skills and I recommended taking an emt class at your local JC - to learn and to have fun learning. Wilderness first aid classes are cool too.

I've bought some high quality IFAKs (individual first aid kit) over time and put them in various range bags, but I always end of taking the parts and putting them in my own kit bc the commercial ones are often packed to the gills, and leave little room to customize.

One other thing I like to bring if I bring a bigger range bag is my fixit sticks case...you never know when you might need to tighten up scope rings/bases or pistol optic screws. When I've tried to be minimalist, I occasionally get burned hard for leaving those valuable tools behind.

For multi day or multi gun- I love my 5.11 behemoth. For the local range I use an old LAPG bag that has held up great.
Big bag has eveeeryyythingggg in it. Small has oil, boresnake ,rag and 1st aid.

For outdoors- always chapstick sunscreen and hand lotion

Over time, I drifted towards a backpack bc stuff can get heavy. I now mostly use a mystery ranch 2 day assault backpack. The zippers open the guts of the bag wide open. I often carry a small plastic ammo can for ammo in the bottom, and on top of that I can carry two pistol bags. I regret not getting the 3 day assault bag lol. If I'm shooting rifle, the space is handy for carrying sandbags, scope tripod, etc. I did a class recently where we had to lug a spotting scope and I just got a case and used the molle on the outside to lug that around. I always check out the fancy pistol backpacks at the range store, but they look pretty lightweight in construction, and don't have the flexibility of my current set up. I say if you are going with a backpack, spend on a good tough one, bc its gonna be carrying heavy loads and be thrown around a lot and laying on the concrete a lot.

On minimalist pistol days, I can get away with a small pistol bag (vert x -COF Light Range Bag). its a non descript bag, and I can be incognito walking around with it in my building.

Toilet paper and water - preferably some shade too.

Gun. Ammo. The correct ammo. Ear & Eye protection.

                              All else is just ***-off.
