Things To Do In West Covina?

I'm goin' to be down there next week for a few days on vacation. I was going to bring my AR, but I'm not familiar w/ the ranges. Is there an indoor range that allows ARs? I'm goin' to drop of my slide and barrel at Enterprise Arms to get it hard chromed and polished since it sounds like a good deal.

Anything else worth doin' gun related? Any must go to gun shops I should check out? Any good joints to eat at, preferably Mexican?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Burro Canyon is north on CA 39 (I think it's 39) also known as Azusa Ave. Long ways from West Covina, but not too bad.

If you're interested, check their website for directions. Also, Gun Runners is up in Duarte. There are lots of Big 5s around as well!

              Gunrunners, Burro canyon

Also you can go to Turner's in W. Covina

If you don't mind driving, there are other gun stores in Orange county area. Take 57 south and there is OC Indoor range in Brea, and on 91 freeway, there is Insight range in Artesia, Ammo brothers. On east side of 57 and 91 junction, there is Ade's gunshop, Turners(Orange), and Fowler's.

From W. Covina, take 10 east, 15 north to go to Bass Pro shop.

If you want to practice masochism, you can go to IKEA and try to walk through it.

It also depends on who you are coming with. If you have a family there are things that could accomodate them too. If you are single, and looking specifically into guns, others can chime in too.

Not to far, just take Azusa all the way into the Canyon. Maybe a 20 mile drive if that. There is a Turners on Azusa by the 10 free way also off the 60 their is a Speedzone Kinda cool if ya got kids with you.

El Taco Nazo on Azusa Blvd just north of the 210 on left (West side) if you head up to Burro Canyon. Get the fish tacos.

Enjoy authentic mexican and seafood at Taco Nazo in South CA . Takeout and delivery available.

Burros Canyon outdoor range, I will be there with a friend Sunday the 26th, I think we are getting a private range. Angeles Shooting range is a 45 minute drive from WCovina, Lytle creek is 1hr 10min. All outdoor ranges. On the way to and from Burros is a great Mexi resturant "La Tolteca". Its an easy drive to Burros just get on Azusa Rd and go north. If you wanna hit the range on Sunday, send me a ping. Its $20 per person, no steel core ammo.
