Agreed. I was skeptical having a pic rail on my ptr-91 but when I was able to use the diopter sight along with the mounted scope, I was relieved to have best of both worlds.

Although in the picture it seems the rail rides above the sight or just in the middle of it.

Already mentioned above but that’s a claw mounted rail. Not welded on.
PTR and some other clones weld theirs. I have an Omega and run a claw mount.
