    Well done. Added points for keeping the tools on board. That trap door compartment in the stock ain't for cigars.

      so, that's how those things work! I am only just starting to reload for rifle and honestly I'd never seen or looked up how those extractors work. Just one more piece of kit I have to look into getting now...

            Brass needs annealing (perfectly normal) on occasion.

            I have found to best indicator is how many time a case has needed trimming - that trimmed brass comes from somewhere.

            Each clambering has its own number - for example 7mm WBY trimmed 10 times is ready for retirement. My rule of thumb.
