AR9/AR-15 part interchangeability.

Hello I have a question from a novice in ARs. I recently placed an order for a juggernaut JT-9 through my work. I've handled them a couple times and have found them excellent rifles.

My question is when it comes to parts, specifically the trigger. Is an AR-9 trigger interchangeable with an AR-15? I'd like to upgrade it to a lighter pull and I'd like to know the options.

It will depend on the model, many (most?) PCC-s are a blowback design with different magazines, magazine releases, caliber, bolts, extractors and alike. Trigger would normally be interchangeable, but it's best to ask the manufacturer since you're looking at the speicfic model. My bet is that it uses the standarard AR-15 trigger.

In my expereince, most of the lower reciever parts are the same.

All my PCCs use New Frontier Armory recievers. I've used milspec and Geissele G2S triggers in them just fine. Standard lower parts kits worked fine, with some parts such as the magazine release build in already.

The different part on the lower was the buffer, using a specific pistol caliber buffer (something in the realm of a H3 or heavier).

AR-15 trigger will fit, but most are not appropriate. See one of the 50 AR 9mm threads.

9mm AR's are often finicky about what hammer and hammer spring they use as the hammer and spring are PART of what's keeping the bolt closed as the bullet starts moving down the barrel.
Always ask the manufacturer of your bolt/barrel for trigger recommendations as different companies will have different recommendations based on their actual testing.
It's also possible that un-tested hammers/triggers will work, but it will be up to the end user to do that testing on their own.

I guess I got lucky, standard AR and trigger worked flawlessly in my blowback. I changed to a heavier buffer only for less kick.

The standard blowback 9mm AR design was specifically built to be used with a standard milspec type AR hammer and trigger.
It's the non-standard hammers/springs that cause problems.
