Florida is good, DeSantis is good, but they still have a little work to do.

Tennessee also objects, we buy, sell, and carry without a stitch of paperwork here as the good Lord intended.

Florida being the freest place on planet earth was a direct quote from Mark Levin .
It sounded right to me so I used it .

Hopefully you are correct on Idaho being the freest state. I am reminded you have been wrong on other important topics, choosing to believe the New York press and prosecutors over a principled, honest , dedicated RKBA leader .

The problem with Idaho is its too close to CA, OR and WA. Combined 50% of the migrants and how many are conservative vs socialist libs?

Ive met former Californians who moved to Idaho and although they may vote GOP , many are easily tricked and have a mentality that is not conducive to a free people.

During a lunch, 1 person commented on how CCW holders are looking for trouble, so they can presumedly shoot someone .

You're referring to the guy who lied under oath, flew his DIL around on a rented jet, flew to the Bahamas and holed up on a yacht, etc., etc.

That's been gone over to the point of boredom. As I recall, his wife had to take a shot or two as he missed an elephant.

            Same guy?

Their mentality comes from having lived in California perhaps too long. An example of being "easily tricked" might help.

The percentage of registered Republicans v. Democrats voting has increased in EVERY Idaho election since we moved here in 2002.

I'd look for different lunch partners.

I'm curious if Californians who move to Idaho try to keep a low profile or not? I could see some Idahoans being worried that their state may turn into another Colorado.

When I visit my family in Texas, sometimes I get a sideways look from folks who see my California plates.... and I don't blame them. But if they only knew how much I was unlike most Californians.

As I've noted before a bunch, politically conservative folks that have moved from California to Idaho definitely outnumber those moving here with Democratic attitudes.

And as I've also noted, if that's what you're worried about, check the numbers of registered voters here over the years.
