    Where To Shoot In Ca

I live in Los Angeles and have a CA-legal M4gery that I'd like to take out of state to practice mag changes, etc. Does anyone know of a good place to shoot just over the CA border? I assume there are some ranges/shooting areas that are just over the border in Arizona or Nevada that would allow such a thing. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Amazingly, there's a thread in this topic that covers the basic answer:

But it doesn't have personal experiences or recommendations, so it's probably not the complete answer.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

www.ar15.com has a Google Earth file as well in the California Hometown section. Same goes for Nevada I believe.

No Google Earth section in Nevada but I found a directory of shooting ranges in Nevada that might help. I think this is a good topic for a thread, though, as many Californians have to go out of state to practice a mag change. Any people out there share to contribute specific ranges/areas with details? Thanks to all.

Webs.com has been shut down on the 31st of August 2023. Find out what that means for your site and how to move it to another provider.

Sorry, I'm just making the above Arfcom suggestion easier to hit.

The google earth file is amazing. If I ever meet whoever compiled it, I will definately buy that person a drink!

Google Earth doesn't show any offices where you can legally shoot a desk.

I can't find any list which shows where to shoot the gazillion rounds of milsurp ammo I have that attracts a magnet.
