XD's are great guns, every bit as durable and reliable as a Glock, and much better ergonomics. I have owned both but stuck with Glock because I shoot it better for some strange reason. Just have to Dremel down the trigger guard on the Glock so it doesn't bite into your middle finger.Comment

This makes no sense. We can't settle the debate and say which one of you is prettier unless you tell us what color lipstick you're wearing.
It's shooting gear, so it's all performance based, as nitroxdiver mentioned above. Timer will tell you all you need to know about your performance with the gear of your choice, and testing gear for retention and comfort will tell you how well you chose your gear.
A bad holster won't release the gun when you draw, or will not retain it when you are in unnatural positions. A bad belt will twist and you'll have to overtighten it to allow it to hold the holster steady during the draw, something you'll see both under the category of "timer" and "comfort." Consider quality gear that will last and do its job, then pick the setup that works for you.
So, to settle your debate, put on your EDC bling and designer watches, your best Victoria Secret panties, then go to the range and work with a timer. The one who gets the A zone shots in shortest time has a better setup. Oh, and you'll also find out that it's the training that will make you win the contest, the setup but having to be of good quality, that will do its job, suit you and last long.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment
