    Daniel Defense PDW Question…

What do you think a good sale price would be? Complete factory Upper. I purchased new. Has 30 rounds down the pipe.

Since Daniel Defense will probably cease to exist as a company in the near future, I think you could to get the same amount as you paid brand new.

Wait...what? Why are they going to cease to exist?

With the sights, you're probably looking at around 1.1-1.2.

There are several active lawsuits against them.

The most recent is a $27 billion lawsuit for a mass shooting.

Before that there is a FEC campaign finance lawsuit for making political contributions.
Federal laws prohibits a defense contractor from making political contributions.

Before that there was a class action lawsuit for violating US labor laws, when Daniel Defense did a mass lay off of (approx. 160) employees without any warning.
Federal laws requires an employer to give 60 day notice before they layoff 100 or more employees at one time.

Hold onto it OP. Collectors value. DD's are the among the finest AR's in existence. Very soon you may never be able to get one again.

There's supposed to be a Federal law preventing this type of lawsuit. A couple have gotten through when they claimed the company made commercials showing how good their rifles were. Laws are no match for stupid judges and stupid juries.

Ok. But just like Remington, they go into Bankruptcy and their product line will be bought out by another manufacturer including the name.

Product misuse is a valid defense against liability. If the defense team can prove the consumer ignored warning labels and deliberately misused the product, the manufacturer isn’t liable.
This may not be a grey area since the people in the lawsuit may not have standing. They were not the consumer of the product.

They don't need to have a label that says "Don't shoot people illegally". The shooters violated the law. Those lawsuits should have been dismissed in 5 minutes. The fact that they weren't shows the judges are screwballs that don't care about the law.
