I just recently moved (within CA), and was trying to update my address on file with CFARS so I could resume standard (same-day, $1) background checks for ammo purchases. During the address change application process, there is a section to enter details of a firearm one owns (make, model, caliber, etc.) but there is no way to "add" additional firearms to the form. Does anyone know what to do in this situation? Do we just need to enter any one firearm owned as part of a general verification process, or do we have to repeat the whole application for each firearm owned? In the latter case, if I only submit the info for my 9mm handgun, does that mean I can't use the standard BG check for rifle rounds?
Apologies if this has been asked and answered here somewhere, but it did not turn up in a search.
