    California Has. No Reach

Gun forums, Guns and ammo vendors up front announcements:

This Forum is for adults 18 years of age or over. By continuing to use this Forum you are confirming that you are 18 or older. No content shall be viewed by any person under 18 in California.

    Ca has no national reach.

Other states’ banning kids from an interest in guns and shooting is irresponsible.
Kids can still use the forum but it may scare many of them off.

Unacceptable “abundance of caution” about a non existent threat

      Their fear is still irrational.
Children can learn about guns and shooting in other states. They di not have to apply Ca law to their kids.
People can do other things in other states that Californians cannot.
It’s like red states banning standard capacity mags for everyone because Californians can’t have them.
If a Californian buys mags in Utah it’s on them. Not Utah.
Or like all states following Ca’s alcohol laws.

Will not stand up in court

The rule of law either exists or it is a lie. If it exists this law is low hanging fruit ... clearly unconstitutional on many levels. Sadly today I find myself questioning whether the rule of law still exists. Trust me, I find this to be most troubling.

If you know or remember, I used to make and sell Tommy Gun conversion kits for the Ruger 10/22.
I sold primarily through my website on the internet.
There is a predatory law firm that operates out of Illinois because Illinois has a long arm law regarding advertising.
Since my website could be seen in Illinois, they were able to sue me.

The law has been revised so that under 18 can hunt, shoot, take all sorts of gun and gun safety classes. It would not have held up in court anyway.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

The State of California has an infection worse than Covid.

I am also an attorney, and I agree with you. It does not take a law school education or a college education to see that this is an infringement upon free speech, yet our legislative bodies and our governor, the head of the executive branch, made this a law. There is a video of a California legislator stating that California ignores the constitution. If this is true, which I firmly believe it is, then, yes, we do not have the rule of law in this state.

Only an idiot believes that telling a kid, that they can't, Look, See, Touch, or Do anything. Actually curtails them from those activities.

Same idiots pass laws "supposedly", BASED ON THEIR TITLES. That stop criminals from doing illegal things.

The claims included in those legislative titles are "smoke and mirrors", used to deflect and obsfucate the actual purpose of the legislation. And gain acquiescence from the NON-THINKERS in society.

A gun forum shouldn’t officially say under 18 not allowed. They then go on to say California kids not allowed.
They ARE saying even their OWN states kids aren’t allowed. In a state where kids are commonly and appropriately involved in shooting sports.

                        All because they fear CA.
Doesn’t matter kids will look anyway.
It’s their spineless fear of a nothingburger for them CA law
