CHP Weapons Confiscation

I was driving East bound on the 210 FWY and off to the right I saw in the distance 3 CHP cruisers and thought 3 cruisers must be something big. Well as I got closer they had a man sitting on the ground and it looked as though they were taking his Black rifle case. Any one hear of this?

Chippies are watching the 210 from Berdoo to 605 hard, morning and evening. Special enforcement I think they call it. Good, it takes a lot of the douchrockets off the freeway when I'm driving through there.
