Double-stack 1911 parts are generally not compatible with single-stack 1911 parts.
Before acquiring parts to modify your double-stack 1911, you need to research if the parts you want to utilize are compatible with it.
In addition, not all double-stack 1911s are parts compatible with each other because of manufacturer differences.
Also, from personal experience, almost all 1911 parts requires some sort of fitting to make it work in a 1911 style pistol.
^They are often not plug and play, requires fitting.Last edited by Quiet; 07-31-2022, 8:39 PM.sigpic

If I remember right, there may be overlap between the RIA A2 double-stack and the old ParaOrd 14 series guns. Armscor itself may have a beaver tail that is compatible with the double-stack frame.Originally posted by ysr_racerPlease don't bring logic and reason into an interwebs discussion

1911's are NOT Glocks. They were not designed to be modular. Many, if not most, aftermarket parts will need to be fitted.Comment
