Double-stack 1911 parts are generally not compatible with single-stack 1911 parts.

Before acquiring parts to modify your double-stack 1911, you need to research if the parts you want to utilize are compatible with it.

In addition, not all double-stack 1911s are parts compatible with each other because of manufacturer differences.

Also, from personal experience, almost all 1911 parts requires some sort of fitting to make it work in a 1911 style pistol.

If I remember right, there may be overlap between the RIA A2 double-stack and the old ParaOrd 14 series guns. Armscor itself may have a beaver tail that is compatible with the double-stack frame.

1911's are NOT Glocks. They were not designed to be modular. Many, if not most, aftermarket parts will need to be fitted.
