I’ve owned two SP-01’s, have over 15,000 rounds fired with them. I shoot them darn well, the problem is the trigger shape sucks for long high round count training days, you’ll figure it out once you put some rounds through yours. I’ve owned and shot them for over 10 years, first one I bought was in 09. Not a rookie with them.

I really don't have a preference. To me a trigger is a trigger. The position of my finger on the trigger is dictated by the gun.

Personal preference. It really doesn't matter. I prefer curved triggers i guess. Flat triggers technically give the user a bit more control of the pull, depending on where you engage the trigger. Also, they look cooler. lol

In the end, training is what matters.

If guns came with flat triggers, then guys would be switching them out for curved triggers. It's the same old story- everybody thinks they need something different than stock. Not that it's better, it's just different.

                    +1 preference
I like my trigger just like how I like my women - curved.

I seem to shoot just fine with a curved trigger. I don't see any reason to switch to a straight trigger.

I only have one flat/straight trigger, a timney one on an AR. I simply went flat trigger because it was on Black Friday kind of deal for $79. Great trigger, rifles a shooter, I wouldn’t say I notice a difference but I have no complaints. Also not like looking to convert all my other firearms.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

For a small frame AR get a Timney Calvin Elite trigger and you can use any trigger type that you like. 1.5 lb trigger pull - the best trigger you can get for a precision AR build.

I like flat on my rifles. It feels better with long fingers, to me. Not so sure it changes my speed or accuracy though.
