Hero marksman doesn't fit media narrative

Greenwood Police Chief James Ison noted 22-year-old Elisjsha Dicken "neutralized" the Indiana mall mass shooter 15 seconds into the attack.

"The Greenwood Park Mall shooter began firing at 548PM.

15 SECONDS LATER, at 503, 22-year-old Eli Dicken carrying under the new NRA-Backed Constitutional Carry law, fired 10 rounds from 40 yards, hitting the shooter 8 times. The shooter collapsed & died."...

    Nice shooting Sir !
Hopefully this was caught on tape and these demonic killers will decide going down by a law abiding armed citizen is not a good way to leave .

There isn’t a pile of bodies to soapbox on so they’re gonna ignore it.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

That was some fine marksmanship right there. 120 feet, 10 rounds, 8 hits certainly under stress. God bless this young man for taking decisive action in the space of 15 seconds.

Would be very interesting to see a drawing of where the eight shots landed. Not criticizing, it was great shooting. Better than I could do at 40 yards. Just would be interesting. Anyone know what caliber he was using? Plain sites or red dot, brand and model of pistole? Most of what little coverage there was seemed to be about regular people defending themselves ( bad ). Even less info on the details.

If they release what make, model, caliber pistol he used, I bet it would make for a jump in sales for it.

The BG fired 24 rounds and killed 3 and wounded a couple more in 15 seconds while being under fire from Dicken? That was a tornado of shooting, running, screaming people. Dicken was incredibly cool headed.

Yeah, I suspect that timeline is wrong. That's almost 2 rounds per second.

This kid should be elevated to national hero. 80% hit ratio under pressure at 40 yards, now that is good shooting.

The media are criticizing him because he violated the shopping mall's gun-free zone condition. I guess the media would prefer a massacre.

I do not believe the shots were at 40 yards. The reports I read, including a witness, stated more like 30-40 feet. Still - great action taken under stress by the young man and good shooting.

So is it too early to support a Rittenhouse/Dicken ticket for 2036?
