Testing the Waters for a group buy...

I am able to get Surefire products for a very low price. I'd like to pass on the savings to fellow Cal gunners. But first, I want to gauge interest to see if people would even be interested.

I was thinking weapon lights, X300, lighted shotgun forends, M900, and maybe your Basic 6P, G2, E2DL if demand is high enough. We're talking 15%~20% off MSRP for some of these items.

    What do you guys think?

PS: This is not a buy organized by a vendor or retailer. I have no association with any vendor or retailer.

PPS: I have already successfully completed a previous group buy of said products on a different forum, totaling near $4,000. User THT, a reliable and trustworth retailer/vendor can vouch for the success, although we would prefer not to divulge what board this previous group buy took place on.

why not divulge what the previous board was? wouldn't the reviews from that GB be helpful to get those here to be more willing to jump into a GB?

1.) group buy "gauging interest" is never real. Everyone will say, "I'm interested, pending price."

2.) somewhere between 1/2-90% of the people who say that won't participate.

3.) You're going to end up paying for the privilege of helping people save money, either in time or real $ (or both).

4.) if you're cool with all those, then by all means... proceed!

      I'd be interested, pending prices.

        I'd be interested in a x200 and a E2DL or 6P LED Defender.

I ran a groupbuy for LPKs, and lowers. both went smoothly.

Just make sure you give all details and work out all the wrinkles first.

                      Tagged for review.

I'm always interested in Surefire and would be in for 20% off an X300. I would, however, want to see some additional information to be sure.

What additional information are you looking for? If its pricing, I'll try to get a quote down for the more popular items.

What are you people looking for to get this on the road? You you want pricing? I can give pretty close estimates to what final pricing will be.
