My auto parts shipment was delayed also, just FYI.

Had me worried for a moment (until the title was changed). UPS is my go to. I can set my watch to the delivery time of my UPS guy. FedEx and USPS I never know when things will arrive -- the time of an old guy is precious!

Do any of the carriers x-ray every box they handle?

Doubtful. Lots of the big carriers are used to ship drugs and other contraband. if they x-rayed packages they' d catch lots of it no doubt.

Looks like 80% arms also indicated UPS had cancelled them as well. Same letter, different letterhead

Maybe it's a rogue UPS worker sending letters to random gun retailers. As far as I know, 80% Arms shipped only using Fedex and USPS.

I guess we will learn more within this month.

For people that think it's been fake you may want to look at this article. You can even go yourself to Brownells and click on their shipping and UPS is now removed from their list. So I am going to say it's legitimate.

                  Yep.
After work I went to a UPS store, showed the employee what it said on the UPS app and he said it was most likely weather or worker related. Okay, cool, no biggie, I'll call UPS CS or PSA in a couple days if it doesn't change.
Same day I mentioned the UPS delay on the PSA forums, not knowing PSA has employee's reading the thing, and one replied right away saying that they often have delays and that they will keep an eye on my order.
A short time later my package started moving.
