    Rifle hard case storage

I've recently moved and I'm looking for a way to store the hard cases out of the way. I never realized how many I have collected over the years. Just curious to see how others keep the cases. They're mostly single rifle cases like the pelicans 1750s but I have one 4 rifle case and a bronc box but that one I'm not worried about as much

Throw them in the attic and then pray it isn't too hot when I need to go up to grab one

If you want more 1750's i have two brand new black pelican 1750's unused. Asking $200 each picked up from Rancho Cucamonga. They're usually north of $300

I slide mine under the bed. Out of the way.

I put some 1x2 wood and made very basic shelving on my garage ceiling so I can slide them up there out of the way. I also have a couple on my garage wall held by same wood slats.

Under the bed downstairs but some don't fit. I do have some in overhead storage in garage. I know the wife is starting to get a little cranky about it.

Hard cases suck. I give them away. One 2 rifle for flying and all the rest are soft for storage and transport.

I'm a fan of the hard cases cause the some of the spots I shoot are rough so they're just bouncing around in the bed.

All the money in rifles and optics I'd like something to keep them as safe as possible

I use to keep them under the bed but my new bed barely fits an AR under it.

I'm just a fan of cases, this is probably going to be a reoccurring problem so I figured I'll plan ahead

I have a lot of storage in my bed room closets, but also have those 6' steel shelves in the garage where some boxes can be kept if I don't want to throw them away but mostly it is used for camping gear etc... You could look at wire shelves or storage that hangs from your garage ceiling? If you get the really large restaurant style wire shelving they are sturdy and will hold two large IKEA tubs with lids per shelf (for example) or easily hold 53" long rifle cases since you can get them to about 72" wide.

Closets are a good idea. I moved from the bay area to placer county so I have so much more storage space then I had. I have a couple of the black wire shelves but maybe I'll invest in larger ones.

I know the safe is a give away already. I just don't want to advertise the firearms everytime I open the garage

In the rafters or if garage is finished, overhead storage above the garage door, if you have the clearance.
