Marlin model 81 and Universal Fireams model 1003

I just acquired two rifles. A never fired Universal Firearms model 1003 Serial number 390***. And Marlin model 81 a l or. From what I can find out UV might be a M1 Carbine 30 cal? It has a plastic single fire insert and a larger maybe 10 round magazine. Marlin 81 has seen better days. Stock taken off and sanded smooth. Lever sticky. Any information about these two rifles greatly appreciated
