    Delayed DROS CA

I purchased my first gun (AR) about a month and a half ago with 700 rounds - DROS cleared in 10 days

few weeks later I bought 500 more rounds of ammo no problem

Few more weeks later I bought a new .45-70 lever action Henry from GunBroker as well as shipped in 12 boxes of .4570 rounds from out of state (2a warehouse) to my local FFL.

I go in after 10 days to pick up my gun and ammo and they tell me my DROS have been delated? I literally picked up ammo no problem 2 weeks prior.

The only thing I can think of is the FFL filled my address out different on my DROS when it got approved compared to the delayed one. approved one: # + E. streetname way - Delayed dros: # + street name way.

      David, welcome to CG.

Now you are among a large crowd of SLOWLY BOILING FROGS.

Ca-DOJ's latest tactic to deter law abiding citizens from buying guns.

Is to stick an ever increasing number of them on the DROS-DELAYED list.

Hit the "SEARCH" button on the page header. Enter "DELAYED" as search for word.

Then grab a six pack and sit back. Get comfortable, and prepare for hours of reading about folks in the same DELAYED boat you are in.

Bought my first firearm (pump shotgun) on May 20 last month from an independent shop in Gardena, picked it up 12 days later with no problem.

A few days later went to Turners to put deposit on .22 Browning pistol and did DROS on June 4. Pick up was supposed to be June 14
but got a call that my DROS was delayed and still waiting. Total nonsense and very frustrating.

Have not received a DOJ letter yet.
