That is an interesting question, maybe punch some numbers on them . If they declined , start yelling in the most upset ,unhinged ,loud voice you can muster. " Yeah tell that to a mother who lost her child because of a gun like this being on the street ! Accuse them wanting more violence and carnage .
Let them know a clever criminal could convert that into a killing machine, because they are smart .

By the same logic , barrels , stocks ,springs, worn trigger assemblies and all gun parts should also be eligible for cash,gift cards, groceries and whatever else these mind control experiments are offering.

I lawyer once told me he had access to a gun and drove to the police station to turn it in . He was disappointed they seemed less less delighted to receive this item.
