Gun buyback question

I personally would never but this question is on my mind.

Scenario #1 - Say you are in queue in your car waiting inside buyback parking lot, you changed your mind and decided to turn around and leave. There are no exit lanes. Exit lane is only after PD are done with your trunk. Remember you are now inside surrounded by PD personnel. My question is since its no question ask buyback, does PD have PC to make contact/stop since it reasonably to assume you must/might have a illegal gun inside your car.

Scenario #2 - Say after PD inspected your "no question ask" gun and their assessment is different from yours. You think the gun is worth the max gift card amount but PD says its the lower end amount. You disagree and decided to leave. Would PD let you?

they'll let you go but you'll be intercepted after few miles and get arrested for possession of illegal firearms. i'm staying in holiday inn while posting this.

I've hit my max per year. I really want to get rid of a ar lower stripped that Ive even attempted to give away/sell at $0 in previous sells.

Y'all think this part would of counted for $300?

If you're in a waiting line for the purpose of a gun buy-back, that would provide LEOs with "Probable Cause" to believe that you are in possession of a firearm.

Unless you are in an unincorporated area where shooting is permitted, that would permit the LEOs to search your vehicle for firearms under the holding of People v DeLong.

Participation in a gun-buyback is voluntary. If you decline to participate, that would not provide the LEOs with any source of legal standing to detain you. There may be something else in the equation that would provide such standing, but simply backing out of the sale would not do it.
