    Vista Outdoor splitting into two

I think Vista splitting into two companies, with one being the ammo brands, is them getting ahead of what they see as a potential problem period for ammo manufacturers ahead.

I think it's because a bunch of lefty retailers refuse to buy sporting equipment from any manufacturer that also produces gun related products.

SRI investors also try to punish any gun related products manufacturers.

          I could see that.

The split would also shield the rest of their companies from financial hits due to liability suits arising from gun crime.

Keep in mind, Vista Outdoors has had a history of 'creative accounting', manipulating share price, and run-ins with class-action lawsuits and the SEC over it, settling with shareholders, etc.

Therefore, given their prior schemes of inflating the stock price, it would not surprise me if the weren't also manipulating an ammo shortage to boost ammo prices.
