    SIG making BALDWIN PISTOLS???

Another Massachusetts police officer is now suing gunmaker Sig Sauer, claiming her department-issued handgun fired on its own, hitting her in the leg.
IF SO, then unsafe "Baldwin SIGs" would be OK for Ca cops to carry.

Since here, it is only average citizens who aren't allowed to buy "UNSAFE HANDGUNS".

We’ll Sig does beta test on their customers, so I guess anything is possible.

I do remember there being documented failures of it firing when dropped, maybe that is what they meant. Apparently a policeman shot himself when he dropped his holstered P320 and it went off while inside the holster. I assume Sig fixed the issue or we would be hearing about it a lot more often

Not old according to the article posted. ONGOING would be better adjective. Suit was filed just last tuesday. And NOT DROPPED>

Officer was walking across parking lot, nothing touching gun or holster, and caught on video according to the suit.

Taurus had similar issues several yrs back also. They had a recall and resolved the issue. No reports since.

                Nope,
                Video of HER firearm discharging.

I took that to mean her fire, debatable though.

the p320 is what happens when the government cheaps out and cut corners to play favorites. sig also won the new rifle contract. i wonder what method they used there as well? cost slashing to take a hit, and then release it to the civilian and law enforcement market for profit to do a proper beta test?

i don't care if they're doing upgrades to make the gun "safer", the p320 should have never left the production line in the first place.

sig has been garbage for awhile now on all their in house designs. they seem to do well when working with existing designs and principles, but anything they come up on their own sucks!

how did the army not catch this? they do angled drop tests on all the other candidates but skipped it for the p320, that's how(in one of the videos, the sig rep lied to the video maker, the us army does do angled drops, they just didn't do it with the sig):

the more i think about this the more i seethe, they need to cancel the contract immediately and get m&p 2.0 and glocks into the hands of soldiers instead. sig deserves to go bankrupt
