    Attn: Rattlecan Brigade!

Stumbled across this, this guy is pretty clever, a cool technique for using Dawn Diswashing Detergent as a reverse stencil when you want to rattle can your rifle, mag or pistol. It definitely gives an interesting camo pattern that I have not seen elsewhere with other stencil techniques.

I'm planning a cheap AR build that I am largely doing as a canvas for trying to some these techniques. Because why not? That's the beauty of rattle canning, if you don't like it, clean it up and try again. If you get something you dig, why not?

And if you use epoxy based spray paints, it will be even more durable and better resist gun oils and cleaners than standard enamel or acrylic based spray paints, but still have a degree of removal if you wish.
