Where can we kill a car?

My dad's planning on buying a new car once the deal on his house closes and he wants to "hire" me to "blow up" his old car. It's a 1990/91 Buick Century. It was originally owned by my grandma and it has been rebuilt several times after her drunken/senile accident episodes. It's got almost 200k on it and sounds like a garbage truck as it rolls down the street. So where can we get together and shoot the ever loving crap out of it? I'd guess I'd have to drain all of the fluids out of it and tow it to the spot. Will the scrap steel yard give me crap about trying to give them a peppered up old car even if I have the title for it?
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

somebody's private property would be my first choice, but I don't see why not in the desert somewhere if you are prepared to pick up all the little pieces parts. I'd take out the glass since you can't get it off the ground with a magnet.

a trailer with a winch would be needed to haul it back to the junkman.

    I'm in..just tell me where.

Need to remove the oil/fluids/gasoline first.

Preferably remove the entire gas tank and oil pan and pressure wash all the oil out and clean the engine bay/trans with a pressure washer so as to prevent ground contamination. Same with the differential and trans. drain the fluids.

Like everyone else said, private property works the best.

It is against the law to shoot at an un occupied aircraft, vehicle or dwelling. Im sure a cop having a bad day could ruin yours by observing you shooting your own car... so watch it. I for sure would avoid shooting a car on BLM land.

While it would be fun I don't want to risk flying schrapnel

If the cops are having a bad day, just casually mention how taking out all his frustration on a shot up car would be very useful. Oh how convenient officer, here's a car... here's a loaded gun...have fun.

Bwah... clear a blast radius out to 1/4 mile and you'll be good to go.

you need one of those storage tubs fileld with Tannerite, and someone with a 50BMG, each person takes a shot till you hit the car 1/4 mile plus away

Well, if it helps justify the killing, the car was probably partially made with Soviet machinery.

Remove the battery, drain the cooling system, drain the brake fluid, and don't forget the power steering.

Oh, and make sure the air conditioning is discharged... and I probably forgot something.

                              I have a better idea..

Ask the local fire department if you can donate it for an extrication class. Let the FD guys shred the car to bits. :-D
