Hi, I have a CMMG .22lr conversion kit and I was wondering if anyone has tried this in their PWS? Im thinking I wont have a problem because the piston rod is attached the the bcg so there wont be the op rod to worry about, but I would like to know for sure before I put it in. Also, since there is no way to turn the gas settings to off on PWS does this mean the gas will be directed back into the receiver like a DI and make a mess? Any help is appreciated.

My results are the same as Nitroxdiver in my 22lr conversion. CCI minimags worked well.
Have a ton of Winchester Wildcats, CCI Blazers and Remington Golden Bullets that jam quite a bit in the conversion, so I save those for my Ruger 10/22, which functions on almost any ammo.Comment

So I went to the range and did some plinking. The CMMG worked just fine in my PWS upper. I used CMMG mags and Federal American Eagle 22lr, had maybe one or two dud rounds. It was fun
