I figured I owed them a thumbs up thread after my recent experience with them. I wanted to build a PU sniper from one of Samco's scopeless ex-sniper Mosins. I ordered the rifle in early May and bought a replica PU scope from Kalinka around the same time. The scope was delivered immediately, but it took until mid-June to receive the rifle. Based on the examples I've seen in the past the rifles are usually pretty good looking, but the one I got was in crappy shape and not worth the $300 (I think they're down to the bottom of the barrel).
By the time I sent the rifle back I was way outside the Kalinka return policy, but I asked if they'd give me a refund on the scope. I was a little hesitant to order from Kalinka initially because of some customer service issues I've heard discussed in the past, but they sent me a check right away and didn't give me any hassle, even though they had no obligation to take it back. The scope itself was of very good quality, much better than I've seen from any other replica PU scopes.
