You're looking atCA has no guidance on what 'permanently' means, so whatever method you choose has some small risk.16740.
As used in this part, “large-capacity magazine” means any ammunition feeding device with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds, but shall not be construed to include any of the following:
(a) A feeding device that has been permanently altered so that it cannot accommodate more than 10 rounds.
See also https://www.magazineblocks.com/magento/faq, which describes the issue at more length.
Also note, such modification to a magazine must occur before the mag crosses the CA state line.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment

Try jbweld 3 minutes. It’s an epoxy but cracks more easily when you break it. So you can reverse easily without getting into CA concerns.
I see mags that aren’t glued or blocked by a wood even on eBay. I suppose the law isn’t that strictly enforced.Comment
