Ammo prices dropping but it is not there yet...

Got a flyer that TargetSports had some 9s... And I definitely have to replenish my supply.

With the fees at the FFL + Komie taxes - this amounts to about 35cpr. Not bad... This is the cheapest I have seen so far from TargetSports, and with a more reputable brand.

That said - would it ever return to the good ol' days of sub 20cpr...?

that $64.08 CA sales tax is a never ending reminder of hell.

future $0.20/round maybe for sales, more likely $0.22 just because of the sales tax.

I averaged $0.21/round received during 2010-2019, 9mm, brass, variety of bullet weights and types.

Take a peek at Canoe Club USA. Quick ship and no Kalicommie tax. For me shipping costs are lowest when I purchase 1000 rounds. Separate orders.

I think factory new brass 9mm is approaching $0.30/rd. Around $0.52/rd for new non-steel XM193.

        I recently bought a case of Hornady 178gr 308 for $280 all in ($1.40/rd). I think it was around $200 early 2020/late 2019.

        Getting better...
Too many rifles, not enough time...

I remember those days... I basically stocked as much as I can during the year preceding the "ban of online shipping" (unless FFL, etc.). But with my average annual round count at 7~10K - COVID didn't help...

9mm will be about 30 cents and 556 will be about 40 cents. We have have 3 price increase since covid started plus recent inflation plus not being able to get around sales tax anymore.
