Nathan of Bay Area Gunsmithing in Marin County has closed his shop and has pretty much taken a break from the full time gun shop business. He is actually still around, but is working part-time and privately. I conversed with him today and he's doing fine! Perhaps at some point, if and when he's ready, he will resurface again or he may choose to remain a fully private gunsmith doing only occasional piecemeal work. He has been my go-to gunsmith for many years when I was in law enforcement and after my retirement. I know many have been asking about him. All I can say is he's doing fine.
