Can I upgrade my safe during the DROS. I want to sell my old one and buy a larger one. I am on day 3. I filled out the safe paperwork when I purchased the rifle. Do they submit with the DROS or when you pick up the rifle.

the Safe Affidavit is not submitted to the state. It just stays with the FFL's paperwork.
I'm not sure of the timeline on when the affidavit is required. I've filled them out when I DROSed, and when I've picked up. You could always fill out a new one on pickup date to be safe

I wouldn't worry about it, that just swears that you have a safe. If you are getting a different one your fine. Its not like anyone will know. If you are really worried buy the new one and hold on to the old one untill the DROS is up.
