Where did they hold this ?
I have lots of gun parts a clever criminal could use to easily fabricate a firearm. Stocks ,grips, springs, barrels, sears, hammers, even screws and pins in the wrong hands, could cause another gun death.
Guess the defund the police actions didn't go far enough ,if LAPD has money for this nonsense.

Local news reported $100 to $200 gift cards. Video had footage of the trash can barrels all lined up and one of the bins is supposedly the rifle bin, only had 4, 3 ar type and 1 ak.

The handgun bin had a nice suppose revolver with combat wood stocks, i was cringing that some unknown turned in an early 80's recover with factory combats.

What's really sad is that sometimes, people who do not know any better turn in some really cool stuff because they simply do not know what it is.

Do gun people still hang out nearby offering to purchase (legally, of course) for more that the $100 or $200 cards? Or did they finally make that illegal?

Um, Dave. Zoom in, it says "Hi-er Point". Pretty sure it holds more value than a Hi-Point.

Anyone know where the gift cards can be used ? I might like a Cabelas, Bass pro or Turners .

                    That's the limited edition Hi-Point.

Firearms from handguns to AR-15s will be accepted in exchange for gift cards ranging from $25 to $200.

It's just for ghost guns I think,

I'm sure the $25 is for the homemade shotguns.
