This is just a guess but I think they're probably more than a brand new Glock today.

HK quality and although it never gained popularity with the masses some people really like their squeeze cocking feature or even that gas delayed blowback design.

Unless you're Hans Gruber I feel many folks would be better off with a Glock anyway.

Since you live in Calif meaning that half of all P7s are not available to you, I'd say add $1,000 more to the real price of four Gs.

Last I checked on GB, they were going 2500+ with holster wear and all. Since we're in Cali, the question is how much are you're welling to cough up. Since you don't see them here on sale often, it's a seller's market for those. And when you do, they're either 10 hrs away or spoken for.

But you won't find it now for that price range,
Maybe if you add in $2200.. to the price you mentioned.

Last I checked, 12-2021, outside of CA...

The H&K P7 PSP (Grade C Euro LE trade in) typically sells in the $800-1800 price range depending on condition and accessories.

The H&K P7 PSP (Grade B Euro LE trade in) typically sells in the $1000-2000 price range depending on condition and accessories.

The H&K P7 PSP (commercial and Grade A Euro LE trade in) typically sells in the $1200-2200 price range depending on condition and accessories.

The H&K P7M8 typically sells in the $2000-3500 price range depending on condition and accessories.

The H&K P7M10 typically sells in the $2500-5000 price range depending on condition and accessories.

The H&K P7M13 typically sells in the $2500-6000 price range depending on condition and accessories.

H&K factory P7 PSP magazines sell in the $100-150 price range.
H&K factory P7M8 magazines sell in the $150-250 price range.
H&K factory P7M10 and P7M13 magazines sell in the $250-300 price range.

              EDIT.
Just did a quick check on some auction sites, add $1000 to the above prices on the pistols.

                    I had 3 P7's - excellent condition. One M13 -very good condition.

Never got used to the squeeze cocking mechanism. Good shooters...way overpriced. Sold them...way overpriced.

I bought a used P7M8 before the roster went into effect for $675. Then they added it to the roster. Don't regret the purchase. Still my favorite gun.

You are talking about P7 in foreign law enforcement. In CA I knew someone who carried a P7 off duty for a few months and eventually settled on a S&W Model 60 for EDC.

NJ State Police carried them in the early 1980s. Interesting article here https://www.range365.com/story/range...e-gun-history/

I agree. NJSP went to the P7 in 1983 and better choices were available in the BHP and the S&W 59 in 9mm or man up and go with a Colt 1911
