Reno?

I will be in Reno for a few days next week. What should I see in the way of gun shops, ranges, etc.?

Palimino Valley range is about 5-7 miles south of Pyramid Lake. It's open to the public and when I'm on the 1000 yd range, I routinely hear FA guns there. As far as shops go, there's the big ones, Scheels (sp?), Cabela's and Sportsman's Whorehouse and then the mom and pops. Many of the smaller stores won't sell a thing to Ca residents though. If you want to go to a bigger mom and pop shop, try Mark Four and Strike. It's on Kitskie (sp?) and there's a big elk on their sign.

If you drive down to Carson City, swing through Virgina City during the day and check it out.

There is Cabela's & Shield's. 2 of the biggest sports stores in the West.

Stop in at sliver state, on kitskie. A couple blocks north of sporstmans warehouse,
But you must check out the cabelas gun valut. :-)

Go to Hi Cap Gunworks in Sparks.. Lotsa evil..Especially the AK variety.. They are a mostly gunsmithing outfit, so you'll see lotsa customs..
