Kyle Rittenhouse's AR fed to the chipper

    There it goes...

Kenosha County Judge Bruce Schroeder has approved an agreement by lawyers to destroy the gun used by Kyle Rittenhouse in three shootings in Kenosha in August 2020.

At the end a comment about duct tape.

Because the gun was evil, for sure. I understand why Kyle and the PR types wanted it destroyed, so it could not be idolized either as a scruples/taboo perspective, however propping up media-spectacle photos or videos, even newd articles, showing destruction of it is exactly what the anti-2nd Amendment crowd want, no matter what explanations or disclaimers are attached to it by Jyle, his attorneys, or the court.

Was it at least given a last dinner of Hornady FTX Critical Defense 73gr .223 Remington and last rites, considering it's being anthropomorphized as inherently evil?

Well, think of it as it's just a tool. It saved his life. He can get as many as he wants just like it now.

Agree - yet, I just don't think turning the destruction of a tool into an event does any good at all. It feeds the hoplophobe mindset that guns are 'bad' and need to be destroyed.

            Concur.

Sounds like virtue signaling a la Rittenhouse.

He's got pending lawsuits, remember. He has juries and judges to win over.

I liked the picture of the Shredder on that machine, pretty funny. I imagine this was recorded just so people couldn't cast doubt over whether it was actually destroyed or not.

It should have been enshrined at the Smithsonian.

                    Yep.
Meanwhile, Oswald's rifle, actually used in a real murder, not for self-defense, sits safely in the National Archives.

I wonder how many ARs he has now. I would have donates one to him
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Yeah, like it solves anything. I guess it lets him distance himself from that night. It surely must have felt like a nightmare that would not end for the young man. Thank God it turned out as it should have in court in the end.

When he gets done, he'll have enough money to buy a thousand more just like it.

Of course they had to show it on the news.

                              Looks like burning books.
I dreamed of owning a (insert off roster gun here)...

Oh yeah....then the earth splits open with me on one side and the (off roster gun) on the other. Then appeared a large red-glowing pit with gavin newscum, diane frankenstein and governor "brown the drain" at the bottom of it, waving their pitchforks at me.
