I understand that, but with today's cancel culture you never know. Also it still is a subsidiary of the Russian parent company.

Don't think they'll be boycotted, but they sure aren't getting any cheaper. I'd also suggest you buy at your own risk; at least if the K-USA KR-9/KP-9 groups on social media are anything to go by, more than a couple lemons popped up with improper or loose riveting while producing during the Covid years, so there's a potential chance you'll have to send your example back to them to fix if you end up buying a lemon.
