    Question about obtaining a fire arm!

    So some times when im on this site I see guns that arent on the approved handgun list. My question is this, if my friend lives in texas and buys a firearm and visits here in california could we do a ptp transfer ? I really want a ruger lcp and ive only seen one in the forums , so could you guys drop some knowlege on me .

    Nope. He cannot import or offer for sale any handgun that is not on the roster.

    Also, PPT's are to be done by residents of the same state.

      Best to keep your eyes open, and when one comes available in your area (like on the CG guns for sale section) move quickly to say "I'll take it!".

          Only if it is on the roster.

          The OP was asking about getting a non-rostered handgun.

            Ok so here's my next question. The guns I see fir sale on cal guns , how are they brought into California legally?

              There are a few ways, first is by intrafamial, or by PPT, or by a LEO that sells PPT, or by any person that moves into the state.
