3D printing will solve the issue of "off the shelf" guns being scarce.

Maybe but unlikely. Most people aren't going to get into 3D printing just to make a gun and those selling 3D printed guns will eventually find themselves targeted by additional laws and restrictions.

When it comes to Russian ammo though, if this whole Russia/Ukraine thing goes on for any length of time, how long will it be before the next boogeyman is all the NRA gun owners who support Russia buy buying up Russian ammo? It's never the reality of the situation it's how the media portrays it that does damage.

Give me liberty or give me death but first can I get more Russian ammo? It's all just waiting for some "journalist" to pump out some story - the Proud NRA member who wears a logo hat made in China, has an AK rifle and scrounges for Russian ammo but has a Velcro American flag their jacket. Just a matter of time.

Don't worry, it will never pass...How in the hell did that pass?

Think past your gun, it's the last resort, the first is your brain.

Funny you mention the NRA and Russia, there was already a story done on that during the Obama era where some honeypot decent looking Russian spy was caught hanging around gun rights groups.

I also found out recently that Russia has no 2nd amendment equivalent as well. Recently the Czechs created their own and Ukraine iirc has done it now.

Edit: the name of the spy was Maria Butina.

            Reload, then problem solved.

No components to reload? Seems like a lack of planning to me.

There goes my hopes of getting into an AK platform.

I'm the sure the people of Ukraine are shedding a tear over your loss.

Though the irony is that they are probably using Russian made ammo too.

                        In Russia 7.69 X 39 shoots you.

It's not only them. Tons of people wish they bought every ammo when it was cheap.

There's a demand. Other sources will fill it. Plenty of other countries will crank it out.

Yes, PSA has expanded into ammunition manufacturing.

Currently, they are making/selling 9x19mm 115gr FMJ ammo under the AAC brand name.
                              ^When it's in stock, it's $15.99 for 50 rounds.

They also said that they won't have their manufactured 5.45x39mm and 7.62x39mm steel cased ammo ready for sale until 2023.

So, next time we get a Republican as the POTUS, stock up on reloading supplies for the ammo you want to shoot.
