No. My safe is so full that I had to start buying NNA revolvers because, they were the only guns that I could find room for. I don't keep ammo in my safes either.

It's so... organized. Is there an advantage to having that many mags loaded and ready to go?

You answered your own question.....the operative word is "ready". During the LA '92 riots, once I received the word that our family's building had been vandalized and looted the previous night, it took myself and two friends nearly an hour and a half to load about a hundred 20, 30, 40, 75 and 90 round mags, not including the time it took to load the vehicles and actually deploy to the location.

It's good to be ready.

That's not my point. Anyone would be scared *****less looking at the wrong end of a .22. My point is his handgun collection appears to not include the venerable 1911.

Yeah, but you'll ruin the springs in those mags keeping them stored like that. Unless he's rotating those mags with backups every month, they might not function properly when the SHTF.
