Depends on the gun, I would pay $500 for an LCP, and prob double that for a PPK like highpowers.

I have one also and carry it during the summer months when wearing shorts. I don't regret spending the extra coin on it.Comment

Pretty sure OP is looking for utility ccw and not a collectable.
So $250-$300 LCP or LCP II should work or a $500 mini 1911 if all metal is preferred.
Cheaper Bersas have mixed reviews.Comment

Obviously what side of “the wall” (or the river) you are on makes a big difference for this thread, and on what one would or needs to pay for any gun, let alone a .380. I paid between $300 and $400 for each of my LCP, but know that was about double the free state price prior to the Chinese caused Wuhan Virus. Would like to get an LCP max, but even at off roster ppt pricing I have not seen any available in SoCal.Comment

$0.00
I don't like .380 ACP or it's Eastern Bloc counterpart 9 x 18 Mak for anything other than a plinking novelty. Too wimpy. Just my opinion having shot many rounds of both into various targets, ballistic gel, etc.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer

If the PPK was pristine I'd go a 1000.1. Compared to what?
2. At what cost?
3. What hard evidence do you have?
