Curious what you guys think about this...
I've been ordering from Specialized Armament for a few years now for Colt parts and I never a problem before until this year.
I ordered a Colt Type N1 stock on Jan 12th for $295. After ordering, Specialized Armament requires you to email your credit card 3-digit security numbers by responding to the automated order confirmation email. Two days later I get another email asking for the numbers again because supposedly I didn't reply to the first. So I emailed again and I still didn't hear anything from them after a week.
Then I sent two emails requesting an update on my order, and they never replied. I tried calling, but it's only voice mail. After another week, I went back to the website and see if they have some sort of notice that they were not processing orders for a particular amount of time for inventory (it happened before), but nothing.
Then when I looked at the stock again, to my surprise it's now $395! So someone is there to update the website? But why ignore my emails? The paranoid part of me thinks they ignored it on purpose to quietly jack up the price. I hate to think that, they've always responded quickly before. Anyone have problems with them lately? At least they never charged my credit card.
Here's are screen shot of my initial order and the current price.
