    AR15 pistol

Well, guys, as most of you know I'm in TX now and am thinking of building an AR15 pistol. If they suddenly lifted all the silly laws in CA what would you choose and how would you build it. Please post pics so I can get some neat ideas. I'm just feeling the need for something different and fun to plink with. I already have an AR and a M1A along with tons of pistols and revolvers.

I like the looks of the old Olympic Arms skeletonized AR pistol, but probably would get something other than an Oly.

    For a pistol, I'd probably get one with a 9mm or .45ACP conversion - .223 in a pistol is a bit of a waste.

if it's tax stamps the limit there in TX, i'd go for a SBR, maybe in 45acp, that'd be fun me thinks. 9mm would be fun for cheaper plinking.

awe hell, i found a place that sells 30mm barrel blanks for the gau-8a as well as live ammo. perfect for a 30mm single shot tactical rifle project.

I would want 9mm. Put all flip up sights. Single point sling carry it under your coat...... Can you do that in TX?

This is TX, you can pretty much do anything you want here.

Honestly, I hate to admit it, but I like those really cheap knurled free float tubes (I think Hogue makes one of the more popular types) in the super short length with a pistol buffer on it. Add in one of those single point slings like HK used to use on their MP5ks and that would be a prety slick weapon.

Pics people, I need pics to go along with these ideas. As far as the knurled foregrip you mention Neo, are you talking about the one that looks like anodized aluminum and is knurled in the middle? I'm liking that myself.

This is pretty much how I would do mine, but without the rail/light on the front.

But possibly with the Novekse flaming pig flash suppressor, and I'd HAVE to add a single point sling locking plate with a small shoulder rig.

I'd buy that bushmaster carbon15 pistol and add a large muzzle break, recoil would be fun

AR pistols have very little recoil.

The short barrel, and light bullets make them total kittycats.
