Palmetto State Armory is releasing a new polymer pistol chambered in 5.7mmx28mm that's almost $1K less than the price of an FN 5-7. It's so annoying to get shown a cool (an affordable) new pistol that I can't legally own in California.

I quit keeping up with new pistols almost 10 years ago. There's no point. I go into a big gunstore in AZ and I have no idea what anything is.

They're going to sell a boatload at the $299 pricepoint. Especially that microcompact 15 rounder.

The 57 is also the lowest pricepoint on any 57 out there. That one will sell like hotcakes too.

If it really sells at that price point, I'll define adding another caliber.

I want one but my FFL does not handle PSA. They will do a transfer, though.

And PSA does not have the gun on their website.

Hopefully the more firearms chambered in 5.7 will bring the price of the FN Five-seveN down a bit.
Been wanting to add to the collection for years.

I believe the Rock 57 can use the Ruger 57 mags but not vice-versa.

Now if they can get the price dropped on that damned AKV I'd throw down on a Rock and add 5.7 to the collection.

Looking forward to see it pop up on PSA website prolly in April. 23 +1 for 1/3 the price my Five seveN with after market threaded barrel was pricey but at the time only thing available back then. I welcome more guns in 5.7
