Cerakote question for those who apply it

Hello all,

Just a quick question. Would it be possible to laser engrave over the cerakote that Ruger applies to the Wrangler 22 LR pistol?

Would it work or would it mess up the coating (i.e. flaking, etc?)

You’d likely need to have it recoated. Depending on what you want engraved.
