I was looking for an item that no one else had except Optics Planet. I thought long and hard about placing the order, remembering how long they took to ship in the past. Even though it's been forever, I still remember the bitterness of waiting a month or more for my order to arrive.

Finally I bit the bullet, and on Saturday (January 15th) placed my order. Imagine my surprise when I got shipping information this morning.

Now granted, it's only a tracking number - they could print out a label and still take weeks to ship my items. But I am cautiously optimistic.

What do you think, should I be?

They're pretty good about it. Never had a label created that didn't ship in the next day or so from Optics Planet.

I ordered a Canik mag Jan 1st and it arrived Jan 14th. Second time they burned me on shipping time. And they recharged my c card another $13.00 on top of that to boot. I told them I'm so done with them

I've only placed one order with Optics Planets in the past and was nothing short of pleased with their speed and availability.

Do an Advanced Search with "optics planet" in quotes as your keyword - Searching Titles Only - and then do some reading.

If you order from Optics Planet, never expect it in a hurry and you will never be disappointed.

I have ordered from them perhaps 20 times. Never an issue because I set my expectations for delivery speed - low.

I have never had a problem with anything I've ordered from them and it's always arrived in a timely manner.

I have about 5 orders with OP. have to return a item once. never had a problem. my latest order got here in less than a week. The last time i ordered a gas block. they even throw in an extra one for free
