NICS Numbers

Hey all,

I'm having a hard time finding a link to the NICS numbers from last year or w/e. Anybody have the link? It broke it down by month and state I think.

NOTE: The totals above indicate the number of firearm background checks requested. The totals do not indicate firearm transfers.

Interesting I noted that Kentucky has more NICS checks that California and Texas combined. Sounds to me like Kentucky likely has every single transfer run through it, whereas Texas has many transfers exempt from this?

Either that or those Kentucky guys REALLY like guns.

Edit: Or maybe Kentucky also uses the NICS system as a background check for additional things besides guns?
