Aren’t loaded PMAGs a little over a pound? Can you just tape a fishing weight near enough to the mag well?

The battery pack is about the weight of a Pmag with 8 rounds.

That's what I ended up doing. I had some lead weights and taped it over the handguard

Hot glue 2 more rounds to the bottom of the battery pack.
That will get you to the weight of a pmag with 10 rounds.

First off, your battery pack is NOT an "ammunition feeding device".

Second, I don't think the ones hot glued to the OUTSIDE of the battery pack would count as being "accepted" by the battery pack since they did not fit inside and would not feed through the firearms action from the battery pack.

So your cartridge bedazzled battery pack seems to fail both parts of the legal description of a large capacity magazine.

You can also bedazzle your battery pack with glitter if you like.
No law against that either.

I would personally go with purple unicorns.
